NEW CARLISLE - This summer, New Carlisle Hometown Days and The Wiffle®Ball Championship will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the festival's founding in 2005.
The 2025 Hometown Days festival is scheduled for Friday, July 25 through Sunday, July 27. Due to the COVID-19 cancellation in 2020, this year's anniversary also coincides with the 20th edition of the festival.
Although Wiffle®Ball continued through the pandemic - and this will be the 21st annual tournament - The Championship will be joining in on the grand celebration! Details will be released in the coming months, but here are a few of the special events and offerings:
Top 20 Countdown: Starting June 20, we'll countdown the Top 20 Moments in Hometown Days history on The Championship's website and social media accounts. These moments will be highlighted during the festival weekend as well. Nominations are being accepted through April 15 - here
Museum Exhibit: In lieu of the Hall of Fame in Memorial Park during the festival, a special WIFFLE exhibit will be on display at Historic New Carlisle's downtown museum throughout the summer.
Golden Giveaway: Twenty Golden Wiffle®Balls will be hidden throughout the Wiffle® Kingdom, each with a prize for those who find them!
Migley Field Authentics: Take home a piece of the Friendly Confines and/or The Championship, as a collection of banners, flags, signs, and other artifacts will be available - for free - in a yard sale style giveaway at Migley Field.
